My name is Luiz Viana, I am a systems engineer specialised in open source software.

The kind of projects I work with varies over time. I’ve been working in infrastructure, distributed systems, platform engineering and SRE in recent years.

Open source, operating systems and scalability are some of my primary interests.

I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil and have been living in Ireland for many years.

Many people know me as jovem. I got that nickname from my friends a long time ago.
